Beginner Training Plan

Your first lesson
I’m just setting the tone that this is supposed to be fun. Nothing should be intimidating.

Lesson 2-3
The general rules. There are a lot.

Lesson 4-10
Game strategy and flushing out the weaknesses if there are any.

Lesson 11+
Drills and more game strategy.

What the Coach Provides

I bring the net, paddles and balls. You literally don’t need anything.

You don’t need to bring anything! I supply nets, balls, and paddles for up to 4 players!

Many beginners see noticeable improvement after just one or two lessons. With consistent practice between lessons, you’ll typically experience steady progress and increased confidence on the court within a few weeks.

Pickleball lessons can take place at any court your coach has access to or any court you provide, as long as it’s within your instructor’s travel radius. Each coach lists their preferred locations for lessons, but you’re welcome to suggest alternatives. Keep in mind that public courts without reservations can be crowded during peak hours. Locations requiring reservation fees or additional costs will clearly note these charges on the location map.

Lessons are generally private, allowing you focused attention and comfortable learning. If you’d like to bring a friend or have someone watch, simply inform your coach in advance
